Major change to university education as students forced to read lecture slides for themselves.
Updated: Jul 7
Students will experience a whole new way of learning by having to read the Powerpoint presentations on each lecture themselves rather than have a lecturer read the points on screen to them.
With social distancing hitting the country hard, universities have taken this step to ensure the safety of its students.
This new development is a worry for some.
"It may not seem like a big deal to students starting here next year but this will be such a big change for us. I'm used to having to physically walk to my lecture and have the lecturer read off the slide for me, I'm worried reading it myself will have an adverse effect on my learning. I pay a lot of money each year to have someone read it for me so I would either like this service or a reduction in fees," said a student.
