The government has pledged that it will continue to set out its laws and actions in regards to the will of the people on the most important issues such as blue passports.
They have pointed out that the will of the people can not be applied to simply anything the British public wish for particularly menial things such as the battle against racism.
The UK government has outlined their position on how 'The Will of the People' should be followed and applied in UK law.
"These people protesting in the streets across the country do not represent the will of the people. The will of the people is a perfectly innocent phrase which has been used mostly throughout the Brexit process as we succeed in bringing about the return of the blue passports. We do not feel it is applicable to the current situation as we disagree with the people on this occasion," said a government spokesperson.
