Viewers shocked to discover 'Pointless' isn't the new name for the government's daily briefings
Viewers were left confused this week when they tuned in to BBC One to find 'Pointless' referred to a quiz show and not the government's daily briefings. The quiz show ran in that time-slot before the daily briefings but hasn't been shown at that time on the channel in the last three months. One viewer explained how the confusion took hold of him. "I checked the TV guide this week and it said Pointless was on at the usual time of the government's daily briefing. My first thought was that at least the government were being honest about it now with the lack of information and dodging of questions. Then I found it to be a quiz show instead, a much more enjoyable watch than a press conference so overall I can't complain."
